Apple season is looking strong this year! From now through at least October, we should be able to find Galas, Red Delicious, Fuji, Jonagold, Jonathan, Jonaprince and other apple varieties in the apple houses. Mercier Orchards is very active on Facebook, as are Hillside Orchard Farms, Hillcrest Orchards, and several of the other apple houses. I dare you to read the latest posts and not be trying to plan a day as soon as possible to take a ride to them and get some good, homegrown Georgia apples!
