Meinhardt Vineyards & Winery

Southeast Georgia’s First Winery. Ken Meinhardt II, along with his parents, runs Meinhardt Vineyards & Winery in Statesboro, the first winery in southeast Georgia. The winery hosts several outdoor festivals throughout the year, including the popular fall grape stomp festival usually in September.  They also offer free tours of the facility and tastings of what they produce along with a picturesque setting for weddings and parties.

The tasting room is warm and inviting, lined with bottles of wine as well as preserves, local art and wine-themed souvenirs. But the real draw is the courtyard just outside the tasting room. It overlooks acres of hay fields that lead to woods and a perfect view of the setting sun.

Wine from Meinhardt Vineyards & Winery is priced at $14.99 per bottle at the tasting room and is available at many local retailers, including Walmart stores in the area.
